The Dictionary Program 2025

The Rotary Club of Brampton Flower City Centennial proudly continued its commitment to promoting youth literacy through our annual Dictionary Program. Today, our members visited two wonderful schools — Carberry Public School and Castle Oaks Public School — to deliver brand-new, Canadian-edition Webster’s dictionaries to every Grade 3 student. This long-standing initiative reflects Rotary’s belief in empowering young learners with the tools they need to succeed. Placing a dictionary in a child’s hands is more than a simple gesture — it is an investment in curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning. By reaching students in both Carberry and Castle Oaks today, our club continues to strengthen literacy foundations and open doors to brighter futures. These small acts of kindness ripple outward — fostering hope, enriching classrooms, and reminding young people that their community believes in their potential.
